A Gallery Wall is Born

Last summer, I scored an enthralling painting by a local artist and painted all of the frames in the play room white to create cohesion (see full post here). After finding a few more old frames in the closet that were ready to come out of hibernation, I gave them a coat of cream (still in love with Benjamin Moore's Alkyd Paint, found here) to join the others and freshened them with new artwork - a postcard by Lieke Van Der Vorst and an illustrated page from Vikki Chu's 2015 Wildlife Calendar.

With a bit of re-configuring, we are now enjoying a growing gallery wall!

Cheers to saving money! And enjoying art that's personal and meaningful...and turning old things into new treasures. Such a fun transformation!

From start to finish, enjoy...
